Like Alice setting off for Wonderland, I invite you to come with me on a journey to discover all the marvellous things that the world of wine has to offer.
Meet Alice
Who am I? Above all I am someone with a passion for wine, a passion I have had for almost my whole life. I started tasting wines quite early on and have never stopped. While I was at school and university, I spent many holidays working for a local wine merchant, the Cave des Domaines et Châteaux in the Paris region. Then in 2012 I came to Bordeaux to further enhance my knowledge of wine and hone my tasting skills. After spending a year learning about the wine and spirits trade at IPC, I had the pleasure and privilege of working for three major estates in the Médoc: Château Kirwan in Margaux, then Château Mouton Rothschild and Château Pontet-Canet in Pauillac. There I learnt the essentials of how a wine estate works, from harvesting the grapes to marketing the wine. After that, in order to broaden my horizons and keep learning, I travelled round the world, visiting a number of wine-producing countries (Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, United States).
With all that experience to draw on, my ambition is now to communicate that passion and share it with you.

Wine-tasting
We offer themed wine-tastings for you and your friends or guests, tailored to your wishes and requirements, from initiations (discovery of grape varieties, a region, a country, etc.) to tastings of fine wines. Please do not hesitate to contact us so that together we can create a really special evening.
SHOP
We have carefully selected wines to meet all your needs: whether a barbecue party with friends or a Sunday lunch, there is a wine for every occasion. For your larger events we also offer a sale-or-return solution so that you pay only for what you consume, without fear of running out.

We can help you choose and source the right wines for your event, tapping into our network, and also organise themed activities as part of your event.

After several tastings masterfully conducted by Alice Shaw, I no longer feel at a loss when talking about wine. I now know and understand grape varities and appellations - and my own tastes where wine is concerned!
We went to tastings led by Alice, once a month for a year. It was a great experience. We are not from Bordeaux and it was a great introduction to the world of wine. The tastings were very instructive and Alice knows how to adapt to everyone’s expectations and knowledge. We can most warmly recommend her cheerfulness and professionalism.
